Possible message from the future...

Okay, well, it struck 12am fifteen minutes ago here in London, England, and on behalf of The Malfated we’d like to wish you a great new year. Thank you very much for your support in 2007, it has been most encouraging and we have some pretty damn cool stuff planned for 2008. We hope all your plans, wishes and resolutions come to fruition - may you enjoy the company of friends, family and strangers. Remember - if you’ve had a rubbish year this past 12 months, well, things change. Make this year a good one!

If you’re in the United States, well, it’s not 2008 yet. But it is in London, England. Consider this a message from the future; its kind of like time travel, only not as complicated (and, trust us, it’s way easier to do). So, hey, hello to you guys in 2007, but do catch up - 2008 isn’t bad. You’ll like it. This year tastes better than last year. We think it’s going to be a pretty good year for you...

2008 here we come

2008 should prove quite a fruitful year for The Malfated, after the relative quiet that was 2007. We have a few things in store - new albums, music videos - so stay tuned. If you enjoy what we do, well, you haven’t seen anything yet, as they say. During the month of January a bulk of new content will be added to malfated.com, and we should have a new track online very soon.

Bradley Sands

Awesome Bizarro writer and editor Bradley Sands, author of ‘It Came From Below The Belt’, has written in to show his support for the band. Read what Bradley had to say about The Malfated by clicking here. Thanks, Bradley!

Spanked by Google for being naughty

A handful of people have written in to tell us that malfated.com doesn’t come up when they google the word ‘malfated’. Our advice: turn your ‘Safesearch’ off (you can do this by clicking on ‘Preferences’ on the Google homepage. For some reason, Google have decided that young people shouldn’t be looking at malfated.com. Either we’re too subversive, or we simply say ‘fuck’ far too often.

Unofficial Malfated fan art website

A rather lovely Malfated fanatic has informed us that she has made her own Deviantart page for Malfated fan art. The site has been up a couple of weeks. Please support her, and the hard work of the website’s contributors, by taking a moment to visit the page. The url is thus:

http://malfated.deviantart.com

Perhaps you’ll be inspired to create your own Malfated artwork! To be honest, we’re not too sure how deviantart works, but if you’re not too sure how to submit your own work to the deviantart page just email it to malfated.com with ‘Fan Art’ in the subject heading and we’ll pass your work on for submission. Cheers!.

This site is banned in China!

We’ve been banned by a fascist regime, which just goes to show that it’s all fucking worth it. We’ve put the evidence in our Museum. To see more, click here.

A widget has been added to the front page of this website. If you click it you’ll be given a list of social bookmarking sites (Facebook, Del.icio.us, Furl, StumbleUpon, Digg, etc). To add this website to your bookmarks simply click on the names of the sites you use and we’ll be there! If you’re too lazy to go back to the front page (shame on you!), here it is:

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Please click the widget and add us to all of the bookmarking sites you belong to. Not only will it make things easier for you, but it will help the band enormously by pointing people in our direction. If you don’t belong to any of the sites listed, it’ll add us to your own browser favorites, making it easier than ever to find us online. Thank you - you’re lovely!

NEW material online!

Karl Steiger recorded new Malfated tracks recently in Portland, Oregon, with Smoochknob main man Donnie Smooch on guitars and live drums (a first for The Malfated). To hear the first of those tracks, ‘THIS PAIN’, click this button (and if you’re a member of Bebo, add yourself as a fan!):

Think you know someone who’ll enjoy and identify with ‘THIS PAIN’? Let them know about it! The more the merrier.
